Tormod Carlsen is educated as a theatre director form Oslo National Accademy of the Arts. Beyond being a director he also works as a theatre scholar, dramaturge, outside eye and as the artistic leader of Norwegian Landscape Theatre.

He has been a assosciated artist at Black Box theatre (2017-2018).

MY LOST UNCLE (Min forsvundne onkel) Homosexuality was legal in 1970s China, yet Jimbut's uncle was arrested four times. Now he is trying to find out what happened when his uncle disappeared shortly after the last arrest. Had his uncle moved away or died?

Shaped as a garden the performance is a site for unanswered questions.
