In an area that, in Medieval times used to be the buzzing heart of this city, now transformed into a park, squeezed in between the main highway and the main train lines entering the city from the east, there is a beautiful spot to look away from the city. They used to call it the “Gods meadow”. Today; “failed city planning” is often used to describe this area. But if you look closely you might notice that this multifaceted and overlooked landscape gently carries stories of the indigents, of workers, of failed dreams, forgotten potentials and loneliness, silently in its many surfaces. Radio Oh So Slow is a tribute to the landscape experience and a down and out view of Oslo. It is a temporary club for listening to radio and watching a view together. We invite you into our tent, provide you with FM receiving headphones, warm socks, blankets, warm drinks and to sit and dwell upon the meaning and workings of these surroundings. The show starts at sunset and as it gets dark we invite you to watch and listen to our live broadcast. A broadcast put together as the result of a dialog and collaboration between artists, local participants, and the place itself and made solely as a tribute to this view.
